Here's a rare early flint glass cobalt blue cut glass open master salt dip from the mid 1800s...it has square footed base with cut ribs around it....flat polished bottom....cut glass diamond hobnail pattern...10 cut panels around rim with scalloped flared top....2 7/8"tall x 3 1/8"across rim....1 7/8"across the square base....it is signed

in tiny etched letters on bottom, which I believe may be a collector's mark?...
.It has 4 small shallow chips on the scalloped rim edge & a couple tiny nicks on base edge. No other damage. A nice clean flint glass open salt that is rare in cobalt blue!....
