    Description

I'm parting out a 1990 BMW 535i manual transmission kit. The chassis has relatively high mileage (315K miles), but it's been very well maintained. I do not believe that this is the original transmission.
Please accept my apologies about the pictures, I'll update them once these parts have been removed. I'll also upload a decent driving video of the transmission shifting through the gears this week, then start removing the parts.
This kit is everything you'd need to swap out a failing automatic. It includes the 260/6 transmission (plus subframe & shifter linkage), the clutch & flywheel assembly (clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, TOB), the complete hydraulic system (slave master, line & hoses), the pedal cluster bracket assembly (pedal, spring, perch, etc.), driveshaft and any other parts you may require. The center console is the same as far as I'm aware, although the shifter trim panel has a different opening. The trim panel is here, but it's going to be sold as a trim set along with all the matching wood door & dash trim.
I'm not sure what other modifications you'd need to do to the E34 wiring harness for this upgrade, but these are relatively simple cars. My guess is that you'll need to short the interlock relay and modify the cruise control wiring, along with some type of upgrade to eliminate the shifter display in the dash cluster. The gauge cluster also appears to be in good shape, I can include it if you require.
While these parts are all in decent working shape, I would strongly recommend refurbishing them before you begin reassembly, new oil seals & shifter bushings are cheap and easy when it's all out in front of you.
This kit can also work with many other M30 based chassis, including the senior sixes, E12, E23, E24, E28 and the E32. Driveshafts and subframes will be your problems there, but the big bits all work.
