FORD/Merc Three Speed Transmission w/Overdrive Late 1950's ? thru Early 1960's ?

This is a Ford/Mercury three speed transmission with overdrive. IF SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT TYPE THIS TRANSMISSION IS, YOU ARE WELCOME TO LET ME KNOW. The large number is T86E-IN and has a six bolt top cover which I removed to inspect the insides. I THINK it fits a lot of Ford products including late model 1950's thru early 1960's Ford/Mercury products, not real sure as I have no way to cross reference the number. This item is offered 'AS IS' with no return. The input shaft has 10 splines and the rear main shaft has 16 splines. (It could use a new top plate gasket). I thought the gears look good and the synchronizers look good. I could see some of the cluster gear and it looked good. I have no idea about the overdrive stuff.  It is overall 34 1/2" long. THIS IS A PICK UP ONLY ITEM IN OR CLOSE AROUND LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
Please look at the pictures as I have no idea of items previous life but the buyer may look it over when buying and decide if you want it or not.
