    Description

    Nissan 280ZX 5 speed transmission. Model FS5W71B.  Originally from a 1981 280ZX but will fit all Z's from the 1970 240Z to the 1983 280ZX.  I had this as a spare for my 240Z with a 280ZX Turbo motor but never needed to install it.  The transmission was opened and inspected.  New front mainshaft and countershaft bearings were installed, along with new 3rd/4th synchro balk rings.  All gears and synchros looked good.
    See pics.  Rotates and shifts smoothly.  It has been filled with 90W gear oil and checked but will be drained before shipping to prevent leaks.  I no longer have a vehicle to test drive it with.
