Description:
This is an original Ford 3-speed manual transmission for various late 1950's and early 1960's car or truck applications. This transmission is in good structural condition with no cracks or breaks to the gear box or tail shaft. The mounting ears on the gear box are in good condition with no modifications or repairs. The shift plate/cover is in-tact and also unbroken. The main-shaft spins smoothly by hand with no unintended resistance. The internal gear case components are well lubricated and move smoothly, as seen in the picture. I see no damage to any of the gears or shift forks. The final picture shows a bracket that was attached to the lower tail shaft support mount and will be included with the transmission. I have not tested this transmission in a vehicle but appears that it was in good working condition when removed from it's original application. I do not know what this was originally used in but hopefully the casting numbers will help you determine if it will work for your car or truck.
