This kit features one of Tremec's most notorious transmissions - the T56 Magnum 6 speed manual transmission. This ultra high performance transmission is capable of handling up to 700 ft-lb of torque. A blend of Tremec OEM technology and the best features from the TKO series, the T56 Magnum series of transmissions provides the ultimate in brute strength and the versatility to fit into any high performance build. Features the same multiple shifter locations and dual speedmeter pickups as the TKO series, as well as effortless, short throw shifting capabilities. These performance 6 speeds feature a 2.66 gear ratio with dual overdrive gears for better fuel economy when needed.
This driveline package is provided with everything you will need for a complete and seamless install - clutch kit, flywheel, bell housing, throw out bearing, speedometer and reverse light harness and all the associated hardware.
Tremec T56 Magnum Transmission
The kingpin of TREMEC's high performance line-up, the Magnum double-overdrive 6-speed transmission takes the very best from TREMEC's current OEM technologies and pairs it with the most popular features of the TKO 5-speed.
Able to withstand a massive 700 lb-ft. of torque while providing unbelievably crisp shifts, no other manual transmission on the planet offers as much combined strength, versatility, and general ease-of-use as the Magnum.
Known in its original equipment form as the 'TR-6060', the Magnum is an aftermarket version of the same transmission found in many of today's most celebrated factory muscle cars – including the Dodge Challenger and Viper, and the Chevrolet Camaro – giving you refinement where you want it and strength where it counts.

*TREMEC T56 Magnum transmissions can be shifted from two different locations - mid and rear. From the factory they are configured as a rear shift. To change the location, you must purchase a mid shift kit (sold separately). The rear shifter location is then capped off with a plate provided in the kit.

GM LS 6 Bolt Flywheel
RAM billet steel flywheels are recommended as replacements for factory cast flywheels in high performance and racing vehicles. Cast flywheels are not explosion proof and can be dangerous when used in high performance applications at higher RPMs. RAM billet steel flywheels are CNC machined from certified materials and exceed SFI specifications. After machining, the flywheels are blanchard ground parallel to the crankshaft mounting surface ensuring minimum runout and the optimum mating surface for the clutch disc. Use steel flywheels in heavier drag race cars or for the best driveability in street driven vehicles.

The McLeod RST Twin Disc Clutch Kit is intended for high horsepower street vehicles. This twin disc clutch kit is rated up to 800 horsepower. Organic lined clutch discs will provide smooth engagement with a soft pedal effort to make this clutch kit ideal for the street performance enthusiast. This clutch kit is designed to be a high horsepower street clutch kit and is not designed to be used in a competition environment. Kit Includes: Pressure Plate, two organic friction discs, floater plate, adapter ring and pilot tool.

The importance of pressure plate bolts in a racing or hi-performance street application cannot be emphasized nearly enough. These fasteners play a key role in both the performance and safety of a vehicle. Because of this, ARP has developed these special High Performance Series pressure plate bolts that are application specific to ensure the optimum grip length.

McLeod 1400 series hydraulic throwout bearings are intended for GM T-56 transmissions. These bearings are feature a anodized billet aluminum housing, quality elbow swivel fittings and high pressure stainless steel braided lines. These high quality components make the Mcleod bolt on hydraulic throw out bearing extremely durable, and the best in the market today! These assemblies may be used to eliminate the need to fabricate complex clutch linkage when swapping transmissions.

Summary:
I found that the pilot bearing provided in the kit did not work for my 2006 truck engine, I needed the smaller bearing.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund. Refunds will be processed (1-2) days after the item is received by Speedway. All returned merchandise must be in original factory condition with no modifications or alterations. A restocking fee up to 15% may be applied if items are not in new condition.
Returned merchandise must include all packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If the items being returned need to be repackaged, there will be a repacking charge. Repack the item in a sturdy box, include a copy of your invoice and complete the form on the back of the invoice. You must ship orders back PREPAID. WE DO NOT ACCEPT COD SHIPMENTS.
