    Staffordshire "TYROL" Pattern Small Platter, John + George Alock, England, c. 1838 - 1848. This is a very attractive small platter with a brown and white transfer showing two people in the foreground, standing by the rivers edge. There are a couple of buildings on the other side of the river. This pattern is illustrated in Petra Williams Romantic Staffordshire book, page 436. This has a printed mark that reads, "TYROL - J. & G. ALCOCK." There is am impressed mark that reads, "IRONSTONE." I offer this Staffordshire small platter here with a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The small platter is 13/16" H. x 6" W. x 8 1/8" L.. CONDITION: The condition is very good to excellent with minimal wear.
