Vintage Hankscraft Pink Segmented Baby Food Warmer Dish - Disney's Donald Duck

Description

Listed is a vintage pink ceramic baby food warmer / divided serving dish in the shape of Disney's Donald Duck.  It's only marking is a number "2" on the bottom but research indicates it was made by Hankscraft in the 1940's.  The dish measures approximately 8 inches by 6-1/2 inches by 2 inches without the stopper (i.e. Donald's head).  The stopper adds about another 2-1/2 inches in height.  There should be cork around the neck of the stopper but it's completely worn off.  The stopper just rests in the opening of the dish (photo #10).  The idea was to fill the dish with hot water, insert the stopper and the hot water inside the dish would keep the baby's food warm.  Other than the missing cork, the dish is in pretty good condition for its age.  The only items of note are a few worn spots in the glaze (photo #11), some discoloration inside the dish (photo #12) and maybe a little crazing.  Please see all photos as they are part of the item description.
