Description
Description-The "Death or Glory" skull and crossed bones brass cap badge of the British 17th Lancers Calvary regiment. The 17th Lancers Regiment was active between 1759 and 1922. The regiment was a component of the Light Brigade made famous by Alfred, Lord Tennyson's narrative poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade" (1854) commemorating events the Battle of Balaclava on October 25 1854 during the Crimean War. This badge is in good to very good condition see photos.
