    Description

    This is a pressed glass open salt or salt cellar.  I believe it is shown as Open Salt #2754 in "5,000 Open Salts  A Collector's Guide" by Heacock and Johnson.  They indicate that it is in the CABINET Pattern by Adams or U.S. Glass.  Circa 1890.
    This piece measures about 1-3/4 inches square and stands about 1 inch tall. It has several smaller chips on the outside rim, mostly near the corners.  Please see photographs for details.
